Sell made to measure. Price it right.

GaugeQuote adds option fields, conditions and price formulas to WooCommerce products. Customers enter their sizes and choices and see the price at once. Your server works it out again before anything goes in the cart.

Your products do not have one price.

A blind depends on width and drop. A glass panel depends on its size and edge finish. A sign depends on the letters. WooCommerce gives each product one price.

GaugeQuote gives each product three things:

  • Product options

Text, number, drop-down, radio buttons, checkboxes, colour or image swatches, date and file upload. Each option or choice can carry a price.

  • Price formulas

Price by m², by metre of edge, by running metre, by m³ or by kg. Add a base price, a setup fee, a minimum charge, quantity discounts and rounding.

  • A live price the server re-checks

The customer sees the price while choosing. When they add to cart, the server prices the order again from your settings. A price sent from the browser is never used.

For any shop that sells by size or by option

  • Blinds and curtains Width and drop, priced per m², with fabric choices.
  • Glass and mirrors Size per m², edge finish per metre of edge.
  • Signs and banners Size, material and lettering per character.
  • Printing Size, paper, finish, quantity discounts.
  • Frames Width and height, priced by perimeter.
  • Flooring Area with a smallest charged quantity.
  • Fabric Running metre with rounding to the next step.
  • Worktops Size, material and cut-outs.
  • Doors and fences Size limits, options and fixed extras.
  • Panels cut to size Materials, sheet sizes and machine rates.
  • Personalised products Engraving text, gift options, logo upload.
  • Laser, CNC and cut-to-size shops The customer uploads a DXF and gets a price (Cutting module).

How it works

  1. Set the price formula

Open a product, switch on GaugeQuote and choose how it is priced: the product's own price plus options, made to measure, or cut to size.

  2. Add the options

Add fields and choices, give them prices, and set conditions to show, hide or require them.

  3. Sell

Customers see the options and a live price on the product page. The server prices the cart again, and the order keeps every answer, the price lines and the files.
